A.D. Gray boys won the Busline League
Baseball Championship, and the A.D.
Gray Girls won the Busline League
Softball Championship on June 8, 2005.
Both teams were undefeated during the
regular season. What excitement! Our
nephew Micah (catcher) is holding the
trophy.
Congratulations to Micah Ludwig who won second place in the public speaking contest at A.D. Gray Middle School on May 10, 2005! He did a recitation of Longfellow's "The Village Blacksmith."

Micah stepped out of his catching equipment and closed for the A.D. Gray Raiders during the 7th inning of the playoff game on June 4. He struck out one batter and walked two others. He was probably feeling a bit tense because A.D. Gray only had a 3-run lead. Then he caught a line drive and whipped the ball to first for a double play!

Micah and a classmate - another one of
my students this year. A lovely girl!
Our nephew Micah enjoys a casual moment
on Rusty, Sarah's retired school pony.

in the name of the LORD our God forever and ever.
